For additional lighting options in your room, the Appalachian can be wired with down lights in addition to the candles. The down lights can be turned on instead of, or in addition to, the candles. This can be done using either a separate wall switch connected to a second wire for the down lights, or if only one wall switch is available, they can be turned on with a pull chain on the chandelier.
